Why?

Ethan has entered the “why” stage
"Eat your dinner."
“Why?”
“Because carrots are yummy.”
“Why?”
AHHHHHHHHHHH


Mark tells him yesterday "Hurry up buddy we have to go."
"Why? Where we going?"
Mark gets frustrated and says "To the moon buddy, we're going to the moon."

"OH the MOON. Oh Mamma we're going to the MOON."
"That's nice love, have fun on the Moon. Wear your coat."
"Why?"
"Because outer space is cold"
"Why?"
"Something about atmospheric heating and lack of air in the vacuum of space, now put your shoes on"


So last night Mark mutters "The moon thing backfired."
***shocked***
"Yeah? How so?"
"He cried when he realized we were going to daycare and not to the moon. I had to promise him we'd go to the moon someday on an adventure."
***rolling my eyes***
"Way to dig your self out of the hole of unreasonable expectations."
Mark ( muttering sleepily) "Why?"
