Today was supposed to be Liberation Day. I had a doctor's appointment at 4pm and there I was hoping for a negative test indicating impending labor and, also, signs that everything had calmed down. Instead I ended up with more questions. The doctor could not tell me why I'm having contractions, why I'm dilated or what the future holds. We're still in "wait and see mode" for the forseeable future. The test results should be back Monday. Hopefully I can return to some modified activity after that. I shudder to think what my inbox looks like at work.
Mark is making dinner tonight and we're going to spend the weekend relaxing. His back isn't completely 100% yet and I'm still officially on bedrest until Monday.
