Furniture Shopping

We’ve spent the weekend furniture shopping. The new house has two “living rooms” and all we’ve ever had for living room furniture are two end tables and a sofa. Obviously that’s not going to work.

We bought a leather sofa, loveseat, chair and ottoman combination for the basement “TV room”. We had picked out a set we really liked yesterday, but after driving to a Denver showroom this morning we found an even better set for much less. (The price of the entire set is nearly the same price for just the sofa from the set we liked on Saturday.)


With the money we “saved” we bought a coffee table, square end table, and “chair-side table”

We looked at dressers for the boys but couldn’t find anything of suitably sturdy construction but decent price. We did find several bed sets that Mark and I might be interested in. We also haven’t decided on desks for the office, yet.

We close on the house tomorrow (Monday) at 9am!
