Ian is 3 months old now.
This month he has met his Papaw and his Grandaddy. He's learned how to laugh and he's started watching TV- though he doesn't get to pick the programs. He watches what big brother is watching and he'd better get used to that!
His eyes are now a dark green color. I think they'll eventually be brown or hazel, but the green is a nice color for now.
He's approxmiately 13.5 lbs, though we haven't had an "official" weight check. He's outgrowing his newborn and 0-3 months clothes and starting to fill out the 3-6 month sizes.
Ian doesn't sleep for more than 3-4 hours at a time but he is getting better about sleeping by himself. When he's not eating or cat napping he likes to sit in his bouncy seat and watch big brother Ethan romp around the house. While in the bouncy seat his legs are always kicking.
Ian's favorite place to be is still the middle of the dining room table. He's fascinated by that ugly chandelier. It sounds rather painful when his little heels kick against the hard wood of the table, but he doesn't seem to mind.
Ian HATES the car. He gets hot and sweaty in his seat and screams until picked up and stripped out of his damp clothing.
His nick name this month is "snigget." It has no meaning, it's just something a sleep deprived Mommy took to calling him and it seems to fit him- for now. Also, Daddy was a bit disturbed when Mommy called the baby "Smeagle."
